A young Grandmother is making a lot of newspaper headlines today after confirming here Million Pound win via a posting on Facebook. Trish Williams and her husband Keith are one of the one hundred winners of a Millionaire Raffle prize.
According to reports Trish who is a mere 52 years old confirmed the win on Facebook. She posted the following “Yes, rumours are true. So lucky, but I had everything I needed with my husband, son, gorgeous grandson and family.”
Keith Williams apparently checked the lottery ticket via a store and was told to contact Camelot re the ticket. He thought they had only won £500 so to win £1 million must be a bit of a shock. The family is also fortunate to have run into an honest shop assistant who did not try and defraud them. There have been a number of cases in the United Kingdom of dishonest shop workers trying to claim wins from Lottery tickets that do not belong to them.
According to the reports both Keith and Trish will continue to work in the current jobs but will take that almost obligatory of routes that a lottery winner takes and that is have a holiday first. Well done on being one of the 100 millionaire raffle ticket winners and more importantly on claiming the win.
