New Jackpot Cap Set On EuroMillions

Today sees the introduction of a new EuroMillions jackpot cap of £157 million. Camelot announced a while ago that the guarantee on the jackpot is paid out when it reaches a certain level.

The Valentine’s day Lottery winning numbers

As per the new rule, the jackpot cap will only apply for two consecutive draws, after which the additional funds will roll down to the next prize tier if it isn’t won. This is great news for all EuroMillion players who will benefit from the jackpot rolling down to the lower tiers.

Tonight, the EuroMillions lottery is worth £28 million after rolling over twice. In recent months, UK lottery players have been very lucky with the lottery, and it remains to be seen if the lottery is won yet again by a UK player. The Valentine’s Day lottery winning numbers were 14, 27, 36, 42 and 46, and the Lucky Star numbers were 08 and 11. In addition, one UK lottery player won £1,000,000 after matching the Millionaire Raffle number XDP745634.

Though no player matched all the numbers last week, there were some big wins. The great thing about a rollover is that all thirteen prizes grow in value.

On 14th February, three tickets matched the five main numbers, one Lucky Star won a second tier prize worth £260,001 each, and another eight tickets won the third tier prize of £32,500 each by matching five mains.

Other wins last week included thirty-four winning tickets that matched four mains and both lucky stars as the fourth tier prize-winning £3,824 each. There were over 161 tickets with winnings on Tuesday’s EuroMillions.

According to EuroMillions Statistics, the most overdue numbers tonight are 35, 32, 11, 29 and 47, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 03 and 09. Tickets are priced at £2 per line of numbers, and players can check lottery results at Euro Millions Lottery.
