The EuroMillions lottery is worth a massive £23 million tonight. The popular lottery game had no takers for the £13 million jackpot on Tuesday causing it to rollover. Will this be the first of many rollovers, as has been the case over the past few months, or will a lucky player grab the prize tonight?
Ever since the introduction of a second weekly game, the frequency of rollovers has increased and in July, the lottery rolled over twelve times paying out a massive £101 million.
Every time a lottery rolls-over it’s not just the jackpot winner who gets to win bigger prizes. EuroMillions has a total of thirteen levels of prizes and each roll over causes the prize value of all thirteen levels to increase.
Tickets are priced at £2 per line of numbers and there is no limit to the number of tickets a player can buy. Tickets can also be purchased for up to 4 weeks at a time.
In fact, very often lottery players get together and form a syndicate which helps them build a winning team. The more lines the syndicate buys, the more entries they have in each game giving them more chances of winning.
Last week’s EuroMillions results were 12, 22, 27, 28, 39 and Lucky Stars 4 and 10 and whilst no player was able to match all the numbers, two players narrowly missed the chance by matching five mains and 1 star. Whilst they couldn’t get the lottery, they did win a massive £363,387 as the second tier prize.
One UK lottery player won £1,000,000 with the winning ticket KRZ816962 for the Millionaire Raffle, a weekly free raffle for all UK EuroMillions players.
