According to reports, a €1 Million EuroMillions prize has gone unclaimed despite the best efforts of the National Lottery in Ireland to find the owner of the lottery ticket.
Ireland Lottery Win Unclaimed
It is a second but much larger lottery win by a lottery ticket bought in Ireland that has gone unclaimed in recent weeks. We reported earlier in the month on a €77,000 win that had also gone unclaimed.
This time the winning EuroMillions ticket bought at Dorans Supervalue in Graiguenamanagh over the May Bank holiday.
The supposed theory is again that a tourist going through the town bought the EuroMillion lottery ticket. There must be a lot of tourists going through Ireland these days.
Every lottery win that is unclaimed in Ireland gets equated to a tourist passing through the place.
Irish Lottery players only have 90 days to claim a EuroMillion jackpot win or the win goes back into the fund, and someone else will benefit from in the future.
Pretty sad state of affairs I must say. That is turning your back on a million euros. That is a good argument for always getting EuroMillion Lottery tickets online. That way you can never lose it.
