The Euro Millions draw number 286 for the 31st of July 2009 took place last night and the result  for the EuroMillions Jackpot of £23,957,846 was that no one matched all five of the numbers and two lucky stars . That means that its a rollover EuroMillions and the jackpot amount for Friday the 7th of August is a massive £35 million.

The lottery numbers drawn for the Euro Millions Jackpot on Friday the 31st of July is as follows :

5 - 9 - 20 - 21 - 26  . The Lucky numbers drawn were 3 and 6

There were a number of winners however who did match 5 numbers and 1 lucky number . There were 12 people who did this and they managed to scoop Euro Million Prize money amounting to £165,198.70. That is a pretty decent amount to win for a single ticket.

According to reports the joint winner of the £52 Million Euro Millions Jackpot walked into the the Lottery HQ in Dublin to arrange for his winnings to be paid to him . Apparently the winner is a young Irish man. We wonder what this young man will do with his windfall. There is no doubt that a lifechanging amount like this can be used to do a lot of good. The Irish winner has elected to remain anonymous. The other winner of this lottery jackpot was a man from Bolton and his win has been pasted all over the UK press. The win has transformed his families life with him now being able to pay of Mortgages and loans and so on and so forth.

The next Euro Millions draw takes place on the 26th of June 2009 and is for an estimated £12 Million Pounds.

Its been reported that a lucky Dubliner is now €28 Million to the better after scooping a share of the Triple Rollover Jackpot . The other half of this Euro Millions jackpot was purchased in the United Kingdom.  A National Lottery spokeswoman said today “the sheer size” of the €29m win has meant that the name of the shop in Dublin where the ticket was sold was not being released at this point.” The Euro Millions winner was advised to put the ticket away and to visit Lottery Headquarters in Dublin from Monday onwards.

This is apparently the third large win or share of the Euro Millions jackpot that the Irish have had. We should put a list together of the countries that have won. Could be quite an interesting widget to have on the site.
