Weather Lottery CEO Jailed over Fraud

The Weather Lottery is a strange name for a lottery, this is however no ordinary lottery in a variety of ways. The Lottery is a fund raiser for all sorts of good causes and administers individual lotteries. It has been dragged into a scandal following the jailing of a former CEO.

According to reports Keith Milhench has been jailed for 28 months due to the misappropriation of jackpot payments to winners. The former CEO has been joined by another Weather Lottery employee in this regard.Amie Pickersgill-Smith was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison for this fraud. Luckily she got away with a 20 months suspension of the sentance and has to do 120 hours of community work.

The scale of the fraud was not massive in terms of the amount, it must though be particularly galling for The Weather Lottery to have this occur considering the nature of the work that they do. Their main role is to offer a free lottery platform to institutions and they then raise funds for all sorts of good causes

The team at Euromillion Lottery does hope that they will weather the storm, and come out a better organization for this experience. Apologies for the pun, we simply could not resist.
