The Euromillion Lottery jackpot is worth just over £12 million pounds as the draw on Saturday has been won. The jackpot for the Friday draw was for over £58 million. Despite the massive lottery jackpot on offer there has been very little attention paid to the single ticket that won the jackpot.

The winning ticket was purchased in Switzerland which means that the winner gets to pay tax on the winnings. Switzerland is the only country in the official draw that levies tax on lottery winnings. It seems that traditional land based media are absolutely worn out of Euromillion news after the frenzied reporting on winners over the last few weeks.
