EuroMillions Prize Remain Unclaimed
The UK National Lottery has announced that a lottery ticket worth £130,000 remains unclaimed two weeks after being bought near Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The ticket was purchased for the EuroMillions draw on the 3rd of February and is a second level prize.
The winning numbers on the 3rd of Feb were as follows 16, 19, 20, 25 and 28 and Lucky Star numbers, 1 and 10 and the winning ticket matched all the mains and one Star to win the second tier prize of £129,712.
EuroMillions winners have a total of 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize and the mystery winner has till the 1st of August to make their claim.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.”
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.”
If the ticket remains unclaimed for 180 days it will be donated for Good Causes which has to date, generated over £27 billion since its inception.
There are other unclaimed EuroMillions tickets with a closer expiry date. A second tier prize won on the 2nd of September 2011 worth £245,597 was won by a ticket purchased in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and will expire next week on the 29th of February.
Very often, Euro Millions Lottery players forget to check their numbers against other levels of prizes and if they haven’t won the main jackpot, discard the ticket.
A good way to avoid missing out on a jackpot is to play EuroMillions online. By doing so, players are alerted by an email in case of a win.
