Euromillions on Emmerdale

According to recent reports the ITV soap Emmerdale is about to receive a family who have won the Euro Millions Lottery. This popular soap is using the Lottery to mirror what has happened in real life me thinks.

The family who move into the fictional town are apparently a strong drinking, trouble causing bunch of folk who have struck it lucky on the Euro Millions. As with all Lotto winners the new family will introduce a bit of glamour to the town, fast cars and shenanigans as well as trying to buy the Woolpack pub before being barred from it.

What are the chances that they plot of this story line has been garnered from the real life happenings of the Norwich winner of the National Lottery who has now spent his entire fortune. A bit of Euro Millions glitz and glamour is about to be added to Emmerdale.
