euro millions jackpot unclaimed

According to newspaper reports a €1 million Euro winning Euro Millions ticket has gone unclaimed despite the best efforts of the National lottery in Ireland to find the owner of the Lottery ticket.The winning ticket was bought in Dorans Supervalue in Graiguenamanagh over the May bank holiday.

The supposed theory is that the ticket was bought by a tourist going through the town. Apparently people only have 90 days to claim jackpot wins or the win goes back into the fund and someone else will benefit from in the future. Pretty sad state of affairs i must say. That like turning your back on a million euros . That is one good argument for always purchasing your Euro Million Lottery tickets online. That way you can never loose your ticket.
